Who has the best pizza in Windsor? This might be one of the most frequently asked questions from new comers in the Windsor CO area.
As a kid I grew up with Friday night pizza night. Truth be told, I could eat pizza every night of the week! I believe your pizza preference begins in youth and is influenced by your surroundings. Some people prefer east coast NY style pizza, there’s also Chicago deep dish, Roma Italian, and everything in between.
Since we all have different pizza preferences I gathered a team of pizza eaters to conducted a side by side comparison of all the pizza places in Windsor CO. See which pizza will be hailed as the BEST PIZZA in Windsor!
It’s a hard job but someone needed to provide this ground breaking research.

Hearth is hands down one of Windsor’s most popular restaurants. Hearth is a full scale restaurant and bar. Hearth offers amazing snacks and appetizers, charcuterie boards, salads, and main entrees. It’s clearly not just a pizza place, however I do seem to always order the Bacon and Fig pizza or the Mushroom pizza.

Windsor Brick Oven Pizza keeps the focus on pizza, stromboli, calzones, subs, and wings. You can build your own pizza to choose from the vast list of specialty pizza. I personally love their BBQ Chicken Pizza. One note about this place is that a large doesn’t seem large to me to I always opt for the XL pizza if I’m sharing with friends.
Pizza Vino NoCo Italiano
Located 6383 N Fairgrounds Ave Windsor
Pizza Vino combines all the things I love in life, wine, pizza, and handmade pasta. The handmade pasta is only available after 4pm and it’s a real treat. The pizzas are hand tossed and made of fresh ingredients. There is a Corn and Sausage pizza on the menu I have yet to try, sounds interesting.
Pelican Jo’s
Located 263 Eastman Park Dr Windsor, in the Loaf and Jug gas station
Pelican Jo’s is located in a gas station and it’s one of Windsor’s more popular places for pizza. Pelican Jo’s keeps it traditional with pizza, calzones, subs, and wings. Pelican Jo’s has a laundry list of speciality pizza to include the Kitchen Sink Pizza. Eating in a gas station might be a first for some but this pizza place has a cult like following.
