Yeah! Summer is almost here, finally! Windsor CO has some amazing community events for the summer season. Here is a list of some of Windsor’s most popular summer events.
Windsor Summer Concert Series
The Windsor Concert Series kicks off June 2nd and runs every Thursday night to August 18th 6:30-8:30pm. This event takes place at the Boardwalk Park Pavilion overlooking Windsor Lake.
Windsor Farmers’ Market
The Windsor Farmers’ Market is every Saturday 9am to 1pm, starting June 4th through Sept 3rd. The Farmers’ Market sells fresh produce, CO raised meats, artisan breads, fresh eggs, and MORE! Bring your kids to play on the playground as you shop at Boardwalk Park. A perfect way to enjoy a summer Saturday morning here in Windsor.
Windsor History Museum
Do you want to learn more about the history of Windsor? Did you know Windsor attracted a large immigrant population of Germans from Russia to contribute to the booming sugar beet industry here? This was before the great California migration we are seeing today! The Windsor History Museum opens Friday, May 27th and will be open Fridays 12pm-4pm, Saturday 9am-4pm, and Sunday 12pm-4pm, with FREE Admission.
Movies in the Park
Bring your own chairs, blankets, and snacks and enjoy a movie with family and friends. All movies start at 8:30, except in Sept when it starts at 8pm. Locations and movies vary each week.
